I am sorry to say but that dress isn't 18th century. Alice made the wedding theme Edwards life and it looked 18th Century. Also, Bella's mom said that her dress really matched her engagement ring. I imagine a really big dress with a corset top that would make Bella uncomfortable but very pretty.
it wasn't supposed to be 18th century but based around 1918, Edward's time period...which no offense to that time period, the wedding dresses were not that pretty (at least to modern standards); they were generally not floor length, more like mid-calf. Earlier in the 1910s the waist lines were getting higher, almost empire; depending on how close you get to the 1920s, the waists on dress silhouettes dropped dramatically. So basically, nothing like this, even though it is gorgeous. I would like to see the gauziness of the bottom in Bella's dress.

There's a little musical on Broadway that's been holding its own this season against the big guns.mother songs
