Well amazingly enough, I actually got ahead of the curve on something!!! I know shocking! Anyway when I had my imaginary casting for Shadow of a Doubt, I had cast Alex Meraz as a twenty something Seth!! And low and behold!! He has been cast in New Moon!! I know confounding, hisglodeneyes.com and twilightlexiconblog.com have pictures for your perusal . . . just going to see Taylor and his arms are worth it!!

It's Official!

Dakota Fanning has officially joined the New moon cast . . . What do you think about that?

Also . . . A media source spoke with Drew Barrymore and she confirmed that she is indeed talking to the the studio about directing Eclipse along with some others.

Sorry it's brief, but I will do some research and see what else I can find out.

Oh and Solomon Trimble will not be returning as Sam, he posted that on his myspace page.

DVD's

Is anyone else confused about which version of the damn DVD to buy? I mean everyone has some special addition that you must buy . . . we'll all end up with five damn versions of this movie, maybe more if they keep teasing us with all this free stuff.

What happened to the movie, and the SE? Now even the content on the DVD is slightly different! I can't help but feel they are trying to get more money out of us knowing how invested we are in this franchise!! That's just my opinion.

Rumor 1/17/09

Perhaps the funniest rumor to date; and I'm pretty sure it has to be a rumor . . . Madonna to be in New Moon!!! Yeah, I know I think I hurt myself laughing at that one!!!
I know Madge used to be wicked awesome, and in some cases her music still is, but I think this rumor deserves an honorable mention just for it's laughability!
I know I will look like an ass if she actually ends up in the movie, but I have faith that Summit aren't that insane!

Rumor 1-22-09

There's a rumor going around, (it was on E!) that Dakota Fanning is in talk for the part of Jane. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

As for me . . . I kinda always pictured Jodelle Ferland; the kid from Tideland, Supernatural, Silent Hill. She really pretty but with a dark side to her. Even Ariel Winter; from One Missed Call would work. I think Dakota is a little too innocent looking.

Thanks to the genius' at the Lexicon; I am happy to say that it appears the rumors of Vanessa Hudgen's involvement with New Moon were false. They went to a source . . . One screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg! and asked if there was a large part for Leah in the New Moon screenplay. It seems that Leah does not have any lines, which means it would be pointless casting VH in the role of Leah!

WHY!

SO there's a rumor that Vanessa Hudgen's of HSM fame auditioned for the Role of Leah! I have to say I am really NOT happy about this!
I'm sorry, I know she has fans and she may even be a decent actress, but she's not right for the role of Leah 'The Harpy' Clearwater!
Leah is sassy and very, very, angry. Her whole life has been turned upside down because the person she was in love with decided to go after her cousin. Not only that but she is not active in New Moon!
This is not really encouraging to me! Why would they add to a story which they are already struggling to condense? I mean Vanessa Hudgen probably won't take a role with no dialogue, which meant that they're adding to the script.
Does this seem disturbing to anyone else? I hate to be one of those people that complain about everything Summit is doing wrong, but this is getting ridiculous!

Taylor Talks New Moon

Taylor Launter looks ripped! I am amazed how much dedication he's put into Jacob Black. I say kudos to him for working so hard, and congrats on the ripped body.

I just got an email from Summit stating Taylor will be back to play Jacob Black :)

TWILIGHT DVD

Okay, so apparently the release date for the Twilight DVD is March 21st. How do they expect us to go three months without Twilight? LOL. It's not in the theaters anymore!
I suspect I shall start having withdrawals pretty soon.
On the upside; they have release the art for the DVD cover.

New Moon Madness!!

Okay so Summit have put out there synopsis on New Moon. Still no word whether Taylor will be back to play Jacob or not. SO I guess we'll have to keep our ear to the ground for that one.
At first, I was all riled up, now I am hoping that whatever decision they make it will be to better the movie. I am going with a wait and see policy on this. There's nothing we can do to change their process.
So we'll have to wait and see . . .

I know, I know . . . I am a sucky blogger; It seems that my thoughts are fleeting and could be possibly deemed unexciting!! Still, consider most of said thoughts are about Twilight, I guess I should start writing them down.

I am hoping to make more of an effort in 2009; I will try and post the news I discover and my thoughts about it as it happens (Or as I find out!!).

That being said . . . it's Jan 1st 2009, so I guess it's as good a time as any to start.

GOSSIP

I heard that Rob Pattinson was thrown out of the LA Improv for heckling a comedian.

Apparently, according to an US weekly source; The Comedian told the crowd he was going to do his Heath Ledger impression and fell to the ground in feigned convulsions . . . Rob and his friends weren't impressed and it's reported that Rob stood up and started chanting . . . "F**K YOU, YOU SUCK!"

Now, I think it's awesome that he had the decency to stand up and say something. It may not have been the most eloquent of defenses, but it was a defense. I wouldn't normally condone things such as heckling, but I believe this was completely justified, and I think I would have probably done the same thing.

Death is never really a joke; death itself is kind of ironic in a way, but I don't think the death of someone should be made fun of. Even if you've never had to deal with the loss of someone close to you it's crass and really quite ignorant. But when you have been effected by the death of someone close to you, it is, in fact, quite infuriating.

So if this source is indeed real; and this did indeed happen. I w ould like to applaude Robert Pattinson for being man enough to stand up and say something.
