Rumor 1/17/09

Perhaps the funniest rumor to date; and I'm pretty sure it has to be a rumor . . . Madonna to be in New Moon!!! Yeah, I know I think I hurt myself laughing at that one!!!
I know Madge used to be wicked awesome, and in some cases her music still is, but I think this rumor deserves an honorable mention just for it's laughability!
I know I will look like an ass if she actually ends up in the movie, but I have faith that Summit aren't that insane!

Rumor 1-22-09

There's a rumor going around, (it was on E!) that Dakota Fanning is in talk for the part of Jane. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

As for me . . . I kinda always pictured Jodelle Ferland; the kid from Tideland, Supernatural, Silent Hill. She really pretty but with a dark side to her. Even Ariel Winter; from One Missed Call would work. I think Dakota is a little too innocent looking.

Thanks to the genius' at the Lexicon; I am happy to say that it appears the rumors of Vanessa Hudgen's involvement with New Moon were false. They went to a source . . . One screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg! and asked if there was a large part for Leah in the New Moon screenplay. It seems that Leah does not have any lines, which means it would be pointless casting VH in the role of Leah!

WHY!

SO there's a rumor that Vanessa Hudgen's of HSM fame auditioned for the Role of Leah! I have to say I am really NOT happy about this!
I'm sorry, I know she has fans and she may even be a decent actress, but she's not right for the role of Leah 'The Harpy' Clearwater!
Leah is sassy and very, very, angry. Her whole life has been turned upside down because the person she was in love with decided to go after her cousin. Not only that but she is not active in New Moon!
This is not really encouraging to me! Why would they add to a story which they are already struggling to condense? I mean Vanessa Hudgen probably won't take a role with no dialogue, which meant that they're adding to the script.
Does this seem disturbing to anyone else? I hate to be one of those people that complain about everything Summit is doing wrong, but this is getting ridiculous!

Taylor Talks New Moon

Taylor Launter looks ripped! I am amazed how much dedication he's put into Jacob Black. I say kudos to him for working so hard, and congrats on the ripped body.
