DVD's

Is anyone else confused about which version of the damn DVD to buy? I mean everyone has some special addition that you must buy . . . we'll all end up with five damn versions of this movie, maybe more if they keep teasing us with all this free stuff.

What happened to the movie, and the SE? Now even the content on the DVD is slightly different! I can't help but feel they are trying to get more money out of us knowing how invested we are in this franchise!! That's just my opinion.

AWESOME!

Thanks to the genius' at the Lexicon; I am happy to say that it appears the rumors of Vanessa Hudgen's involvement with New Moon were false. They went to a source . . . One screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg! and asked if there was a large part for Leah in the New Moon screenplay. It seems that Leah does not have any lines, which means it would be pointless casting VH in the role of Leah!

New Layout

I decided to put up a new layout, one that fits my needs a little better than the last, I figured that maybe, I could start using it for how I intended.
I noticed that the whole Midnight Sun drama made it into the national news. I wish it had never happened, I was so looking forward to Edward's take on the meadow, his real reaction to the van almost hitting Bella.
I think it would have been a good insight into the Cullen's world, as you probably know I have tried to dabble in that world with Alice's version of each book. (Breaking Dawn's through her eyes will be started as soon as I'm through with BD: Immortal Souls) I would love to know how it really was, how the Cullen's interacted with one another when no one was looking, and last, but certainly not least, what was Edward thinking when Bella left to meet James?
If these arrogant people hadn't hacked the story we would have found out, I don't know why they refused to let Stephenie Meyer work in peace. I'm sure everyone is aware of how daunting deadlines can be, whether it be school or work, so I am sure that when SM was free of those she was able to fully enjoy her writing again. I know that is how I would love for her to write, free of pressure and time to reflect on how she felt about each part.
I must say I am a huge fan of SM, as you can tell I adored the host just as much as the Twilight saga, and I'm sure that I would happily read anything she put down on paper. I'm just sad that our excitement has been stolen from us by thoughtless hackers.
I always try and stay away from leaks, I was impressed that I dodged so many of the Breaking Dawn spoilers before it was finally released, but this bites the big one. I hope SM gets back on track, and I hope she realizes her fans still follow her loyally no matter what she chooses to do.

Breaking Dawn Speculation

B&N Forum

Ok, I have been gathering everything I could because I have been quite bored at work today and I was reading this forum on Barnes & Noble and I started at the beginning (Told you I was bored!)
Anyway I have to comment on some of the speculation even from as far back as Sept.
I'm going to try and break this down. I will add in quotes so you can see what I'm on about...

"I'm hoping Jacob becomes the Leader of his Pack, and stops the wedding. I would also like to see Jacob fight for what he knows is his. And if Edward wants to put up a fight then so be it. I don't think Edward is as tough as he seems. Even after the last fight i don't see anything .. So these are my hopes."- Page 3 of the forum.

Ok first of all... I want to say that I love Edward and Jacob, I think they are both strong and essential characters to the entire world of Twilight. Jacob may be young and sometimes immature but he is only 16 and although he grew into a 25 year old because of the phasing, it is implied that it is his body that has aged not his mind.
I don't think Jacob will stop the wedding, I think because even though he is hurting, he really only wants Bella to be happy, and his King Solomon speech at the end implies this to me, and although he knows Bella loves him he also knows that she has made her choice, her love for Edward is stronger than anything else in her world, he is her world, her heart, her soul. And I think if Jacob and Bella really were supposed to be together Jacob would have imprinted on her. I know there is a chance he may never imprint on anybody but it seems to me – the way Stephenie writes it – that if Bella was in fact Jacob's destiny he would have, in fact, imprinted on her because it was meant to be. but hey thats just me.
I also want to say that I think Edward is as strong as he makes out to be, just not with Bella, she is his one weak spot.

Ok some have also speculated about Bella's aversion to blood in Twilight, New Moon & Eclipse...
I think that this could be an interesting point, when or if she is changed. Edward, in Twilight, laughed at her when she mentioned it was the smell of blood that made her woozy. I think that it will more than likely come up again because, from my multiple readings of these books I have got that vampires have heightened senses, which would include smell. Wouldn't this perhaps make Bella a little less inclined to thirst blood, or would her instinct and thirst overshadow the aversion?? It's interesting and a point that I hope will be answered =]

"I agree with you Bella is starting to become really annoying. with all of her emotional problems." - Page 5 of Forum

Really? I would love to see anyone deal with the fact that your two loves are mythical creatures and you consistently have your life threatened. I have also noticed how people Bella bash and call her weak or selfish because she has admitted her love for Jacob...
To this I all I have to say is it was necessary, I think Bella fell in love with Jacob because he was "her sun in her darkest night" and that is bound to leave some kind of impression on someone, and although I was shocked and a little disappointed in her the first time I read it, the second and third time I went through it I understood. Loving Jacob show Bella how much she truly loves Edward, this may sound backwards and a little odd but if you think about it, it makes perfect sense. If you have had only one love in your life you have nothing to compare it to.
Her love for Jacob basically shows her that yes, there are other options out there and she has the ability to love someone else if it ever came to that, but it also makes her see that nothing makes as much sense to her as Edward, he is her soul mate, the one she can't live without!

I watched an book discussion with Stephenie on Borders Media Website and one of the group asked her about Alec from the Volturi's powers and she mentioned that she had avoided including that because she was planning explain more in another book. This was from a discussion about New Moon and Eclipse (Just before the release of Eclipse) and I'm guessing Alec is going to be making an appearance in Breaking Dawn.

Ok so I have either bored you to death (Not that i'm sure anyone reads this!!) or I have got you mind a thinking... Please if you do read this and disagree or have any insights comment and I will get back to you.

Twilight Movie

Ok so being completely honest I am torn between excitement and optimism about the Twilight movie coming out in December.... I like the idea of visually seeing the Cullen's and Bella come to life but I don't know if I exactly agree with Robert Pattinson as Edward. He doesn't honestly look anything like the description Stephenie Meyer so delicately describes. So I decided to go on a hunt and see if I could find anyone who fit my mental image of the gorgeous Vampire and I have to admit I found this picture completely by accident... I also like Gossip Girl!!!
Chase Crawford would be the closest representation to how I saw Edward, not identical but close as I can get... I don't there could be living person who represents Edward the way I see him. I added the picture so you can understand what I mean.
I guess I'm just worried about the movie taking away from Stephenie's beautiful words and the sincerity of the story, I don't want it to become another throw away movie, a perfect example is The Covenant, don't get me wrong I like the movie but I am always left feeling cheated after watching because they had taken an awesome idea and threw it together and it felt rushed and it didn't quite flow as easily as it could have.
I also have to comment on the promotional pictures of the Cullen family t hat have been released for the movie, what is with the hair? Please someone tell me that these were just thrown together for publicity sake... The hair is horrible and I find it very distracting!! I really am not trying to put the movie down because I am excited about Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan and I hope the visual representation can really get across the emotions that are so dominant in the books, I think I can definitely say I think Kristen Stewart will do a good job.

Ok, onto another point.... does anyone else feel like they will go completely insane before Breaking Dawn is released??? I think I can honestly say that I am impatiently waiting, and I am far from being an impatient person, I think this is the publishers excuse to torture readers because... I feel tortured!!! LOL

Twilight Music

OK so even though I feel completely lame I was curious as to the songs Stephenie Meyer listened to as she wrote so I went to a play list website and created the play lists she used for each book I have added them separately so if you wanna listen just hit play. Enjoy ;0)

Twilight Saga

Ok so now I can't possibly wait till August for Breaking Dawn to be released, it's going to be torturous!!! I know that every fan of Stephenie Meyer's is feeling the same way. I know because I read the forums and the blogs and anything I can possibly get my hands on.
It's just the whole Bella and Edward scenario, I think that everyone wishes that they could find a love as pure and although at first I was disappointed about the interaction between Bella and Jacob on the mountain I think I understand why it happened and what the thought process behind it was.
It's kind of a testament to Bella, she loves Jacob but she loves Edward more and although for a fleeting moment your heart stops, you realize that whatever happens between these two, they will never have the connection as Bella and Edward have. I think this is certainly the moment this happens for her as Stephenie says, Bella fell in love with Jacob in New Moon, she just couldn't see it through her misery and the whole Edward left made her feel incomplete.
Please if you feel in any way that I am wrong comment I won't take offense, it's just the way I see it and I'm open to other opinions.
So, getting that out the way, I'm interested in what path Stephenie is going to take and I'm wondering if Jacob will imprint???? Just a thought... let me know what you think!!

New Moon

*sigh*
I just finished New Moon and I am waiting for eclipse to be delivered, I have to admit I am addicted to this series of books, I am a lot older than a young adult.
This book really got some emotions going, I think I cried throughout the entire thing, Stephenie's writing is amazing, when Bella feels pain... so do you! I really enjoyed every part of it and to be quite honest, will have to read them all again. (I have read each of the HP series at least 5 times... sad I know).
Stephenie has made it so easy to really become involved in Bella's life and like I said about Twilight, sometimes you feel you could be next to her. This series helps me with my escapism, yes it sounds strange but like everyone, occasionally you need to abscond from your life, even if for just a brief second. I have found solace in this book, I enjoy the words and the sentiments and Bella is always getting into trouble, you find yourself laughing at her sarcasm or her complete lack of balance.
The only thing I find distressing is that they are too short lol! I seem to coast through them in hours and this is the main reason I read books 3-5 times ;0P.
I honestly don't think I will make to August to wait for the next book, it will be excruciating, but I'm sure worth every second.
I'm babbling...
